The stated purpose of CCA is to advise and educate the public on conservation of marine resources. The objective of CCA is to conserve, promote and enhance the present and future availability of these coastal resources for the benefit and enjoyment of the general public.

CCA Savannah Chapter Meeting - for 6:30 PM Tuesday, June 17 at Tubby's in Thunderbolt , located at 2909 River Dr.

The main speaker for this event will be Chief Van Horton from the US Coast Guard. The presentation will be approximately one hour and cover the following topics: Search and Rescue, Boating Safety, Law Enforcement, and Other Maritime Topics.

In addition, Doug Haymans from the GA DNR Coastal Resources Division will also make a brief (10 minute) presentation on the Peach State Reds Initiative and hand out fin clips.
